Baby shrimp id


Was wondering if anyone could ID these baby shrimp for me? I was thinking they were supreme red babies but its been like a month and they still are not coloring up. They have almost a blue tint to them like my oebt babies but I know that is not what they are. Could one of my rainbows gotten knocked up by a tiger and carried them without me knowing? I have 2 rainbow shrimp in with oebt and supreme reds. The 2 rainbows are without a doubt female, have seen saddles on both and saw one berried but she dropped them after like a week.


It's strange, they always are right near each other in groups of 5-10

That is a supreme red baby in the background that was born right around the same time. Maybe they are just colorless cherries? Thanks for the help.

needs to be older to tell for sure. with it being a baby and that small no way to really know with out guessing

too soon to tell. what types of shrimp are kept in that tank?

There are oebt, supreme red neos, and two female rainbow shrimp. These babies are around a month old I believe. I thought they were supreme red bit they still are showing no signs of coloring up. They kinda have that same clear bluish color of oebt.

they are not oebt. if they were they would have the orange eyes for sure even if they were blonds. its possible they are low grade cherry shrimp or males. males tend to not have as much color and unless they have been culled alot will lose some of the red as they continue to breed. im guessing low grade cherry shrimp

Thank you, yes I know they are not oebt baby, have like 40 oebt babies in the tank with them. Was just saying they have a blue tint like oebt babies. I was just unsure if they were cherry or rainbow babies as they are close to a month old and are still not showing any color. I did not know supreme reds would throw that low of a grade baby that quick as they came from my original supreme reds I got from Nick. Guess cherries really do need a ton of culling. Atleast my puffer will be happy lol.

every now and then it can happen. im a big guppy breeder and even pure lines will toss out wild looking guppies at random from time to time. im not sure what your "rainbow" shrimp are so i dont know if neo will cross with them or not. if they are malawa shrimp i dont think they can cross
