AND TODAY....

The tank has been changed a bit and grown a LOT recently! Here is what I am looking at now. The Ozelot Sword and Water Sprite are SUPER happy, as is the Anubias! The anubias has grown 2 or 3 new leaves and I can see another coming. I am shocked at how many it has put off!

The Java Fern has black spots and is growing a little plantlet off the tip of one leaf. I am thinking of waiting for the plantlet to grow more then keep than and trash the plant, and maybe put Bacopa Carolina in that spot.

The Banana Plant I added is now floating since it died off and grew 4 new leaves. I am not a huge fan of it, and was thinking of replacing that with a Dwarf Water Lily. Not sure what to do there though.

My Dwarf Water Lettuce is doing ok...I seem to get roots dying off after each water change, but they grow back quickly. Is that normal? Also, they are starting to each put off a baby or two so I am excited about that!

I think I am going to take the Marimo moss ball out...I used to think they were cute, but now that I am learning more about other plants, it seems silly in there.

I would love to hear opinions/suggestions about the plants or design! I am very new and this is my oldest tanks so far (first tank actually) so have a lot to learn!
