Most reliable heater

Who makes the most reliable heater these days? I'm looking for a new one for an 84g tank. I have a 200w jäger but it had water inside and doesn't seem to work right anymore.

Ideally it would be nice to find a black one but the few I have found have had mixed reviews

i love the aqueon pro heaters i currently have around 9 of them and never had any problems. also they are black!

make sure its the pro model as they also sell glass ones that are not very good.

I used to use Ebo Jagers exclusively, but after some issues with the new Eheim versions I started using Aqueon Pros. I have 4 Aqueon Pros running currently and all have been extremely reliable and fairly accurate. The oldest one has been running at least 5 years with no issues. I have had decent results with the non-pro Aqueons also, but the pro is a much nicer product for not much more money.

I just got the new Cobalt Neo-Therm. So far, I like it a lot.

Got water inside? Strange, even though it says do not submerge, me, and many others have ours submerged for years, and work. hmm, wonder if the seal was bad.

Could be emailed them a pic but don't have a receipt so doubt they will replace it but you never know!

I'm going to pick up a aqueon pro next weekend since its black and will blend in nicely
