Should I float shaded myrio?

I recently bought a couple bunches of myrio tuberculatum that hasn't done anything for a couple weeks. I know there's adjustment time, but as short as the plants are, they're shaded until they get a few inches taller. Is it a good idea to float them until they grow some or would this potentially kill them?

Thanks

I would certainly float several stems.
