Fluval 203

So my folks found and mailed to me the old Fluval 203 I once used for my 29 gallon aquarium all through hs. Assuming that it still works(I'm guessing they at least plugged it in, hahaha) any suggestions on pieces or parts that should be checked prior to use? It's got no hoses, but doesn't seem like an issue. I was thinking about using this on a 10gallon I just derimmed. Thoughts?

Probably needs a new seal around the lid. My 205 leaked after a year of no use.
