Fishless cycling procedure

Im using ace hardware pure ammonia. I get the whole process but the only thing im hearing differently is some say dose same ammonia amount to get desired ppm everyday from the beginning and some say check and only add some ammonia to get desired ppm and some say wait til its 0ppm ammonia the. Add again to make it 3-5ppm.

Which one is best?

Add enough ammonia to achieve 5ppm. Test daily until ammonia starts to fall. Then add the initial dose daily, until fish are added.

Yes, there are several different methods for dosing ammonia. Everybody has their own preference of how they like to do it, but I think all of the methods work, so it's just a matter of which one you find to be the easiest for you.
