Issue with angle iron stand

So I have an angle iron stand for a 40 breeder. I will be using an acrylic aquarium on it. The aquarium will sit on 3/4" plywood that rests on top of the stand.

It has a bit of a problem the front and back crossbeams dip about 1/8" in the middle. Obviously it is not good, especially for an acrylic aquarium. Any ideas on how to fix this? Is it okay to place shims under the plywood to cancel out the dip? Any ideas on other fixes?

It is too late to return it as I have had this stand for over 2 years unused.
Thanks!

1/8" isn't much. You should be fine.

Shims would work. Or a piece of styrofoam under the whole tank so it soaks up the unevenness.

I filled it half with water, the shims seem to work in keeping the plywood level... I guess I will try to stop worrying!
