Thats fine i just wanted something that could keep plants pretty well. This thing wouldnt work if the tank has a frame right?

the link wont work for me but if it is a screw on type for rimless tanks you can always just file down the plastic on the rim like the lip that the hood would sit on.

I did this to fit a filter on a tank. Works best if the tank isn't filled yet.
