HYDRA! They will die!

Alright well for alittle over a week now I've been losing my endlers. Today I noticed little white things all over my glass, Which I assume is hydra.

Could these be killing my enedlers?
What shrimp/plant safe medication can I use to get rid of the hydra?

I have them. I'm pretty sure I got mine from a sea monkey packet I tried raising in the tank before. If you purchased plants recently maybe ask the seller if they notice any in their tank.

I've read through the recent threads and I don't see which dog dewormer or whatever to use. Can some link me/tell me which brand/type to get and how much to dose?

Safe Guard 4 Canine Dewormer, the active ingredient is fenbendazole and is shrimp safe.

That's liquid though, the stuff you recommended is dry.

I've noticed hydra in my tanks every now and then throughout the years, but they never seem to stick. I tend to feed pretty lightly if that has anything to do with it.

It's alot smaller in size, as far as I know it's Hydra, unless theres a white algae I've never heard of...

Yes. I modified my dosage based on this guideline (might have overdosed a bit) for my 5 gallon with microrasboras, ramshorms, and otos and it got rid of all the hydra after 3 days of dosing. None of my fish were harmed and the snails were okay.

I get bursts of them now and then in my shrimp tank if I over-feed (along with lots of other creepy crawly critters) and I've seen an occasional one floating free in my 37g, but can't say I've ever lost any stock to 'em. Though with the way cherry shrimp and endlers breed, there could the occasional loss that I never noticed. My pico tanks--which are stocked from the affected tanks--have never shown any hydra ever, but they're also incredibly lightly fed.
