If I'm not mistaken, I think that PFR arrived well before Chocolates did. Are you talking about Supreme Reds?

Not trying to talk smack by any means, think they are very nice looking shrimp, just an honest question. If they breed "true" how did there end up chocolate looking ones in the first place. In my head a blue shrimp that breeds true would only produce blue shrimp. Again not trying to be negative just trying to figure it out.

I think they're gorgeous shrimp! Well worth $9 - probably more - because they're high quality.

Even the chocolate-colored ones are nice, so your new tank should be pretty awesome-looking when they start to reproduce.

They look good, but I'm not buying any till the price drops a bit, like to $5. Still, it's exciting to own a new color variation.

You're right. If they occasionally throw a chocolate, then they do not breed 100% true. Sort of like how orange eye blue tigers throw some blondes. I think the chocolates are attractive too, and I like blonde OEBT as well.

I'm just comparing layers of color. heh

PFRs have blue tissue to make the red dark, no?

These have tissue of blue as well.

Personally, i think all neo need to be culls regularly to maintain quality.
Look at how long painted fire red been around.
Regardless, i'm still jealous. They are really pretty.
Wish i ordered them in time

Btw, thank for sharing.

ABSOLUTELY! Of course, I'm a selective breeding nut anyway...

Plus, i don't know why some people complain.
When chocolate first hit the market, i paid close to $20 each.
This guy look more solid, plus the blue hue, i think the current price is fine.

Haha Nubster, hope you don't mind if I also share some shots here. You could make it the official I just received blue diamond shrimp thread :P.

I'll just say: these are most certainty worth it. All mine came in and they're much more attractive than other blue shrimp I've seen.

I picked up 6, and each is almost black.

The males are a bit similar to OBETS.

These are in my Almost-ADA link in my sig.

Very nice. How many did you get?

I think the current price is actually very acceptable as well for what you get. They're gorgeous! By far one of the prettiest neos of all time.
