Planted Tank Obsessed
My 75 gallon
I just got a 75 gallon acrylic last week after upgrading from my 55 gallon hex. It is so nice to have a tank finally that i can plant and have the right amount of light. Its low tech with no CO and mainly rooted plants.
Lighting is on the way, I currrently have two standard 32 watt 48 inch strip lights and one t-5 fixture .I have 2 T-5 fixtures coming one standard freshwater light and one marine light with actoinc bulb for better color for the fish. I don't care for the orange look. I have 30lbs of flourite base and then some standard fine gravel with iron in it 100lbs on top layer. The colors of the substrate are so close to the flourite i couldn't hardly tell i added the gravel.
7 med. angels
6 clown loaches
I was afraid the angels would want to eat the plants but so far they haven't touched anything after a week.
I don't know many plant names but here are a few I do know.
narrow leaf ludgiwa
any suggestions on growth of the plants what grows faster then other or taller let me know. sorry about the poor pics.
