The OP wants an interesting tank activity, arguably other loaches will also shoal but, none are as flashy as Clowns. A basic of our hobby is if we are successful, plants and animals flourish and need to be removed periodically. Even the smallest sp. like Cherry Shrimp can over run a tank.

lust my personal experience with the gold algae eaters, keep in mind they get 10+ inches and are very active, meaning total spazzes. Other then that though they are very colorful and pretty cool looking just wanted to toss that out there.

Agreed Dogfish, its just my personal preferance to stock to the max based on adult size. Minus having to remove babies, which at the 265g stocking levels will definately take place at some point. Imagine 265g stuffed full of live bearers, it would boil over in babies.

back on this thread, have anyone have roseline sharks and rummynose together?
can i see some pics?
since they both look similar i wonder if it would be boring.

I've seen them housed together. Its a good mix because they grow to be different sizes.
