Best Shrimp for small tank?

Hi All!

Hoping all of you could give me some ideas about what to do with my newest tank.

A friend gave it to me. It's smaller than a ten gallon but looks bigger than a 5 gallon? Maybe 7.5 gallon if they make such a thing???

Anyway, it's got everything but a heater. I can always pick one up.

My question is.... what type of shrimp would do breed best in this size of tank? (with the exception of Opae Ulas'). I already have a small tank of Opaes so want something different.

I was considering Rili's but there doesn't seem to much of a demand for them anymore.

What are your ideas/suggestions?

Thanks everyone!

Red cherry, yellow, orange are all easy to breed in small tank.

I breed everything in sub 10 gallons.....

Go with what you want......stability is the key. If you can achieve that in your tank...then size really doesn't matter.

I have a 12" x 12" x 12" and that's 7.5g. As far as what...breed what you like. Who cares what the demand is.

i belive i have some kind of neo (they have a racing stripe or some do any way and colored like wilds) that have stayed really small and to be honest there is a good 50 or more in a 1 gal hex tank. the odd thing is i dropped a small one in a 10 gal below their tank when i was bagging some a while ago and now she is like 2 times the size of the ones in the 1 gal hex. so it might be the size of the tank plays part in it. cause mine still breed. on a side not mine are cool lookin
