Low stand in Buffalo area

I'm in the midst of purchasing everything for my new 36 gallon bowfront. I need a stand to put the tank on. However, I cannot use a standard stand. I need one that is no more than 20" high due to height restrictions in the room.

I have looked everywhere but can't find anything. I've even tried looking for TV stands but those are too tall.

Just curious if anyone knows of any place that might sell something like this.

Wow, that's a short stand. If you need a 20" tall stand you are going to have to make it or try cutting a standard stand down to size.

Have you looked around for a coffee table? Most of them are right at 20" high.

Good idea Pink! It's garage sale season so you should be able to find a sturdy coffee table cheap.

Keep in mind that 36 gallons is 300 lbs of water, plus the aquarium, lights, etc. Very few TV stands are designed to support even 250 lbs while most coffee tables are designed to support a few magazines.

Thanks all. I ended up having a friend custom-make one for me. The final dimensions ended up being 31" wide by 17" deep by 20" tall.

Thanks chicken.

I just got my plants last night and put three danios in there for starts.

New to the live plant scene and still have to get the knack of aquascaping. But I think there's potential for when everything grows in a bit.

Not sure what fish I will be adding. I'd like a school of rasboras or neons, no ideas other than that.
