10 Gallon Filter


Im new to the whole fish tank thing, And looking for a filter, and was just looking for some advice, and if you have any recommendations or a good one, On a budget as well, so the cheaper the better.

i use a ehiem 2213 on my 10 gallon. u can get away with a cheap hob as well. i think aquaclears have a lot of bio media.

How planted and stocked is your tank? The 30 might be a better choice.

Aquaclear 30 would be my pick. Under $30, plenty of flow that's adjustable, nice room for any filter media you want, parts are cheap and readily available.

I ran an AC50 on my 10g and found it to not be too much and it has loads of room for media. I'm actually running it on my new 7.5g tank but with the AC30 impeller to slow the flow a little.
