Any stores in Seattle carry ADA?

Hi,

I'll be driving up to Seattle from Utah for business, and was wondering if there were any stores there that carried ADA products such as Aquasoil and Power Sand. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks : D

Actually, I am curious about this too. I have a "new" 10G that I am going to be setting up, so I was wondering if "The Fish Store" has it - I figure I could just stop in, though.

No one carries ada stuff up here in the Pacific Northwest

you will have to pay shipping... If you belong to GSAS you might be able to get everyone in on a group order and get a great deal on the soil with whiteglove shipping to someones business.

I think the only people supplying ADA products are the Senske brothers.

Thanksfor the responses. Was hoping a major city like Seattle would have a store carrying ADA stuff. I'm intersted in ADA substrates..... and they're reasonably priced... until you add in shipping : (

I'll talk with the owner of Kings Discus, he seems like the only fella around this town that would have the flava to carry ADA products. I'm doind some fish shopping tomorrow, I'll post!

Aqua Forest in San Francisco is an ADA distributor, Seattle doesn't even have a major store that carries a decent selection of plants, never mind ADA stuff

I read another post about finding ADA, and it said there is a small store called Aquarium Plus in Seattle. I haven't been to it, but I hear they sell a few ADA products. I also read it's really hard to find.

The store is now called Fishaholics. It is somewhat small, but does carry some ADA products. They have items that other stores don't have, but it really is a hole in the wall. It is surprising that for such a small store, they don't seem to fully utilize their space; many tanks are empty and not a lot of hard goods.

However, they do carry rimless tanks, aquasoil, seiryu stone, shrimp, and things for planted tanks.

I've been pretty happy with the plant selection from Sierra Fish and Pets in Renton. The entire stock changes weekly though.

If you're going through Portland, OR, there's a must-see store called The Wet Spot Tropical Fish. They're the biggest on the west coast and have everything. Literally. Including ADA Aquasoil.
