clear water turning in cloudy water?

Hey hi there!
I have a 20 gallon aquarium with 2 dwarf gouramis and 6 tetras.
I didnt have any live plant until I added some yesterday.
The aquarium actually looks better with plants. but however,
I found that the water became not that clear after I added some plants in it.
I can't say that it is really cloudy, but just not as clear as the past.
I could also see some floating things more likely the things which makes the water not that clear, some people told me that I might have to wait for a few days to cycle the water.
But I am still worrying about it...
So is it possible the live plants make the water not that clear for awhile?
Thank you!!

Were the plants clean when you planted them? Did you disturb the substrate? What is your substrate? Is your tank properly cycled? Can you do a water change?

The plant is cleaned before I put them in the tank. I was having difficulties when I want to hold it under the water, maybe I did stirred something up in the gravels. I just tried to change 1/4 water, the water seems to be better and now I think I have to wait the water to be cycled.
Anyways, thank you! I think I will observe it first
