CO2 regulator question

I'm in the middle of a dry start. Before I put the plastic back on, I like to pump some CO2 into my tank and then seal it up.

My question is, should I leave the CO2 tank open and just unplug the solenoid when I'm done or should I close the valve on the tank and unplug the solenoid?

Nothing wrong with leaving the valve open with the solenoid closed. That's the purpose of a solenoid - so you can shut your CO2 off without using the tank valve or regulator valve.

Just unplugging the solenoid is sufficient.
