To filter or not to filter... that is the question

2.5g standard with 3 walls of xmas moss and carpet of dwarf baby tears (AKA the green room). Using it under my custom rimless 31.4g purely as a CPD fry raising tank.

I was going to just put in an air stone, but wondering if I should put in the Azoo Mignon filter 60.

Do I even need the filter?

I would filter just to prevent stagnation of the water and to ensure a suitable biological filter for fry.

Your mileage may vary, tax tag title not included, see store for details.

Agreed. Personally, I would def filter it somehow. Thats not much water...how many fry are we talking? I assume you will be feeding these fry? With heavy frequent water changes you might be ok, but still...atleast you'll have some water movement.

Why not just a small sponge filter?
