Hornwort with Eggs or Parasite - Please Help

Hi. I'ts been a while since I've introduced any live plants to my aquarium. Fact is with college/work I had no time to take good care of my goldfish tank and went along with plastic decor for a long time. Now I wanna make the jump again to a planted aquarium.

Now to the main point of the thread: I bought this Hornwort at my LFS the other day. When I got home, while I was rinsing it for quarantine I noticed little sac like pouches embedded in the leafs. The guy who sold it to me had a hard time looking for it, after a while he came to me with this single stem and told me he found it in a tank at the back of the store (probably not a very well maintained one).

I thought they could be snail eggs but they don't look like such. Any suggestions?

Default Those are NOT snail eggs.

It's either dragonfly eggs or damselfly eggs.

Most likely dragonfly eggs.

They're predators, so unless you have tiny fry in your tank, your larger adult fish will eat them.

Thanks! They do look like dragonfly eggs! I think I'll remove them by hand or wait till they hatch before introducing the plant. It kind of worries me to have that kind of larvae inside my tank and my goldfish eating it. Don't know much about dragonfly.
