I have two LFS's here in the area of Shelby Twp/Utica/Sterling Heights that I would like to recommend.
If you are looking for a decent, (small but decent) assortment of plants try Kee's Pets in Shelby Township. They are located at the southeast corner of Van Dyke and 23 Mile Rd. They will also order you any plants that you may want.
If you need SW stuff try Reale's Reef in Shelby Township. They are located at the southwest corner of 22 Mile Rd. and Hayes. They have an excellent selection of SW macros and corals.
