This light work for 40 breeder?

I have a 40 breeder iwagumi growing dwarf baby tears. I plan on raising a 30" ray2 led about 6 inches above the tank... Will this be enough light?

Or should I go with the 36" ray2 led --- has alot more light (30" has same amount of lights as the 24" version but more spread out).

thank you

the 24" and 30" use the same exact boards so the power increases are hardly noticeable between them. I just got a 36" FugeRay on my 40B and it's amazing light and the Ray2 would be even better!

If you buy the 36" Ray2, you pretty much have to have CO2 to avoid algae. Unless you want to rais the light 12" above the tank.

Here's Finnex's PAR charts:

So the ray2 24" and 20" have same par values? even though the bulbs are more spread out on 30" fixture?

The light will be hanging about 20" above the dwarf hair grass belem (I am told they can grow with medium par) (I am using mineralized top soil/flourite and dosing with excel). I may also put a glass top, which can block some light.

Is 30" ray2 good enough with 35 par at 20" depth

or

36" ray 2 with 50 par at 20" depth better?
