Thanks .. one of the first sites I visited with I first setup my aquarium. It appeared to have a lot of good info.

Lots of info, but just one persons view. Maybe not totally correct but has some good info with some bad info. Idk how eheim has bad head pressure with max height of 7'6" but filstar is good at 47" and fluidized bed filters are excellent, but they have been much improved since sand bed filters. Bio reactors using media like kaldness K1 and K3 work much better if you need that amount of bio filtration, but very excessive for 99% of tanks on here because bioload is greatly reduced by plants, which I can be the most effect form of filtration but was overlooked.

Carl Strohmeyer is pretty smart, and been in the hobby as a hobbyist, but also a business owner for decades. Most anything published on that site, is research backed stuff so it's quality is pretty good, and pretty trust worthy.
