Planting and trimming tools

What tools should I get to help with planting and trimming and taking care of plants?
All I have now are Fluval tongs. I will need at least scissors, but I want to get everything that will make my life easier.

I've seen scissors that are straight or curved and others weirdly shaped. Is there a shape of scissors that is more useful?

Also, my aquarium is kinda tall and I have trouble reaching the back with my tongs, so something longer would be very useful.

Any particular brand to recommand?
I've seen 10$ kits on ebay, but I don't mind paying much more if it's worth the extra cost.

I reach for 12" forceps to plant and retrieve dropped stuff and 8" curved scissors most of the time in my 24" deep tank. My forceps have ridges and would probably work better for planting if they were smooth.

I bought this kit off Amazon, it's a decent deal. You get 2 tongs, 2 scissors, and 2 lockable tongs (forceps) all in a little case labeled "Aquarium Tools". If you have just one tank this kit would be overkill, but if you have 2 tanks that are in different areas of your house it's nice to be able to leave a pair of tongs/scissors by each tank so you don't have to go walking back and forth if you forget them.

So that's 26 bucks for 6 tools with a case. Oh yeah, and they're stainless steel.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
