Derimmed tank, mesh guard, 30 cherry shrimp, eheim 2213, lily pipes, cheap heater, lots of new plants, baby tears just put in but waiting for them to get used to high light and need to take out the extra on the left back corner.
Slowly working in ei, small gsa on glass, some staghorn came with the peacock moss that looks to be on the losing side of the ecosystem. Only waiting for the slow growers, crypts, peacock moss, to grow in.

Added riccia, separated and hope baby tears gives a compact carpet, moved anubias and hydrocotyle, added 6 ottos, need peacock moss to get going, took out one seiryu stone for another, now 5 stones in frame.

Moved some stuff around. Having staghorn algae in my peacock moss, any thoughts on that? co2 levels are high and steady, nutrients are good, I am not sure what to do about it besides removing it manually and using excel spot treatment. Did some research but it has been resilient to everything I have done with it. It came in with the moss...

That huge mass of riccia I am trying to sell, look at my most recent selling post if interested.
Two plants are flowering which is cool. The anubias shoot just keeps going towards the surface, thought they flowered a little closer.

Want to do 2 cfls but not sure how to do it yet.

Loving the wild look.

What about you nitrate levels. I have found in my tank that it can cause algae problem if not between 10 - 20 ppm.

Thanks. It could be a nitrate problem, haven't used test kits since my last tank. I should get an api master kit again. At this point I probably will pull it all out one day and do a peroxide dip, and excel whatever is left in the tank.

I think emergent growth is pretty cool, thinking about making a riparium style planter or getting one for some plants in the top right.

My cherries and malawas, and ludwigia out of the water.
