Funniest thing I can rememer is a few years ago I had a roomate watching tv in the living room that started suddenly screaming. When I came running from my bedroom only to find my Blue crayfish had climbed out of his tank (in my room) and all the way to the front door (about 75 ft)

When your favorite chair has been turned around to face the aquarium with the back to the tv and hubby. And of course when you are excited about a new leaf!

or you rearrange the living room so that the "show" tank is next to the television and then buy a $3000 sectional so you can see the tank from everywhere you sit

I had a small cow this morning upon realizing one of my banana plants is sending up a THIRD pad. Also, stock pots from the kitchen make great water-change buckets. Sturdy, easy to carry, hold a lot of water...

Incidentally, I realized I'd gone over the planted cliff when I turned a wedding prop into a walstad bowl. I REGRET NOTHING

(huge pic, sorry 'bout that)

When you continually ask your parents for chores so you can buy the next piece of your aquarium that is ever so slowly coming together.

A recent thread made me think of this. While I don't know if it happened in this particular case, I've seen it in others, so...

After severely injuring yourself while derimming a tank (or some other PT related DIY activity), you take photos to share with the forum BEFORE seeking first aid.

Haha, everyone would always ask me why my chair was backwards at my home recording studio when that was my only tank. I just always slid over their before leaving the room. Now, atleast 50% or more of the time, one of the dinning room table chairs is.

My fiance used to get super pissed when she would find a jumper on the floor or the couch. Now she just asks me to pick it up. I think that means she enjoys it now...maybe?

I just nicked my thumb one day at work (while w/c a saltwater tank) and it first started with swollen tender lymph nodes, but within a few days the blood infection had set in. Needless to say I grabbed my camera, snapped a couple shots, and THEN proceeded to the Dr.

When you have bits of duckweed dried on the backs of your arms and algae under your fingernails.

I also have clippings in jars on windowsills. Don't we all? :P

When you buy a bathroom shelf (over the toilet kind) to sit in front of the window so you have more space for those many jars that are full of plants :-)

When you have tanks UNDER your desk with clip lamps attached to the legs for light.

When (while purchasing a new jar/vase/glass) the guy at Salvation Army asks you to show him pics of the planted jar/vase/carafe you purchased last week.

When you buy your boyfriend a case of bottled water on the condition that he save the empty bottles for you to grow moss in.

When you empty a Jack Daniels bottle, you fill it with gravel, moss, and water, then dig up your Peace Lily houseplant, and remove a section to put in the top. Then it becomes the centerpiece of your coffee table.
