zoomed 501 on mini L
I bought a zoomed 501 that I was going to put inside a mini m but realized I would much rather have a mini L or Mr. Aqua 11.4g. Do you think the zoomed 501 will cut it? I'm using it in a 10g right now and the lily pipe isn't creating the whirl pool effect. Could this mean that there isn't enough outflow?
Thanks! |

You are right. I had my zoo mad 501 ran on my 5G with perfect flow. Once I upgraded to a 10G, I was never happy with the flow it gave me, even I took out all the sponges. I ended up with adding a second HOB filter to help the flow.

hm, I'll probably just go with the mini L then. It's 8.5 g. Thanks!

I have a Zoomed 501 on an 8.7 gal and it seems to have plenty of flow.
