Question for people that have houseplants growing out of open top tanks
Lowe's is a good source for Aglaonema "Gemini". These plants are shorter, with broader leaves. King Soopers has Aglaonema "Cutlass". It's taller, with long, narrow leaves.
Attached are a couple of pics of tanks I keep with the emersed plants. Sorry for the dark pics, the tanks are in my basement, so lighting isn't very good. If you want specifics, just let me know. In the top pic, the Pennywort is growing out of the water. It's an aquatic plant, for sure, but apparently likes the room light too. Philodendren, Pothos, Nephthytis and Algaonema are all plants that will do well emersed. B
