ok so in my new tank of 5-6 weeks, I'm seeing some algae that I need to address.

it appears, that i have some Rhizoclonium and Oedogonium according to the photos in this site:

main reason sounds like that it's because of low co2.

my light which is a medium-high light (it's a 23w pointing vertically straight down, 13 inches from bottom of tank) on for 7 hours. my co2 is at 1bps, and lowers my PH to a 6 from my normal 6.8 (using ph tester kit)

should i be really increasing my co2 or shall i reduce my bulb wattage. i don't think i have to have med-high light with what i'm growing. shall i reduce number of hours to say, 5? i know it's about finding the happy balance and wanted to hear some feedback. my concern about raising co2 is the fish in the tank.
