Those are crypt wendtii bronze. Also, thanks for the tips. I was wondering how I should start tackling that. The Glosso has taken over pretty much the entire tank at this point. I'll get a pic for ya tomorrow as the lights will be gone by the time I step into my apartment. |

Well, it's been some time and the tank was absolutely taken over with glosso and various stem plants. I decided it wasn't the direction I wanted to go in and tried again. Here's the before

Just after set up with the inhabitants moving back in. ![]() Here's after 24 hours of darkness and some cleaning. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance for any comments/advice. -Paul |

Forgot about this guy, pick up a pair of these! The female is a bit shy and so I have yet to catch a good picture of her but here's the male!

Nice! I like the new scape a lot, love the contrast between the open, light area, and the overgrown, jungle-like side.
Well done.

Nice tank. What did you do with all the plants you removed? By the way, the krib pictured is a female, not a male. If you do in fact have a pair and they breed, your neons could be in trouble. Kribs may be one of the smaller cichlids, but their protective instinct is big!

I was going to donate them to the LFS but he insisted he give me some type of credit. So, he actually traded the kribs for the plants. Thanks for clearing that up, btw. They seem to enjoy each other quite a bit and noticed them burrowing near one of the rocks, is this is a sign of anything or am I being hopeful? I'll try to snap a picture later today of the other krib! |
