Which form of Fenbendazole do you use in CRS tank?

Panacur is used everyday by reptile breeders throughout this country. I have had it prescribed by my reptile specialist vet. I have used it on boas that have values up to 60K ea. if it was me I would just buy some no planaria. Just my thoughts.

My point exactly. Your vet prescribed it for your snakes. Not your shrimp, fish whatever. Please my concern is not dewormer, it is the misuse of products. It is that line in the sand. Once it is crossed it is easy to justify anything.

Enough of my ranting. Lets enjoy our fish, our plants, and our shrimp.

I'd never discuss cattle dewormer unless it worked. If someone wants to extensively test a product on their shrimp, by all means let them to see if it works. Someone did with SafeGuard and panacur. Safeguard is a dog dewormer, but I recommend nothing else, and I won't be recommending anything else.

Safeguard is the cheapest thing I know around. In every pet store in my area and cheaper than shrimp designed additives.

My point is the product is useful in aquariums as it was tested and has no ill effects.

Safeguard is just a brand name. They sell dog, horse, cattle, and goat dewormer, percentages vary as well as of course, amount fed/dosed. Panacur is another brand name...same drug.

so i have to use 1/20th of a gram for my 5 gallon tank... i guess i dont feel so bad by just going with a pinch with whatever i can pinch with tweezers... fairly unscientific i know...
