Opae ula. Where to get them in Europe. Help!

Hello guys

Iv been looking for these shrimp for ages an ages over my neck of the pond. They seem to be really rare and the 2 websites I found (and no ebay links allowedcom) have them stupid expensive

Does any one know where to get these from? I fell in love with them after seeing them in a local shop in them ecosphere but I'd rather have them in a tank then starve in a orb.

Please help guys

Gaz

The cost of these shrimp isn't that much, but Ebay has enacted a policy now that all inverts have to be shipped overnight. That's the big price to pay.

If you can, buy from breeders. I suggest you to buy from mustafa(check out petshrimp.com , there is a store section and in it there is 4 categories, opae ula is in the SUPERSHRIMP! Categorie). Hope it helped you.

Gaz,

Not a whole lot of help, but I've bought some from a breeder in Texas. Much more reasonably priced than others. Don't know if he ships (or if it's even legal to do so without permits) to England. PM me if you'd like his contact info.

(Annual traveler to Colchester, Essex here...)

Hello rob that might be useful you have a pm. As far as I can tell there isn't any permits needed unless you ship directly out of Hawaii. The main problem I'm finding is the cost of delivery is just over 100 $130ish for shrimp that only cost 14 /$20ish

Why not reach out to Green Machine and other retailers in the UK?

They should be able to help you locate what you want.

iv just spoken to maidenhead aquatics who tried to get them for me (head office spoke to the hawaiian importer) to note maidenhead is the biggest aquatic chain store in the uk

unfortunatly their answer wasnt very good, they were unable to get them as there is currently a exclusivity agreement with EVIVO the company who sells the ecosphers, evivo balls, and bioglobes :'(

i hope the agreement goes as its restricting these amazing shrimp to pure death, destruction and starvation

thanks for the help guys very appreaceated
