My Tiny Desktop Landscape

I had this tiny little tank and this is probably the 5th time I've redone the layout after I got it last year. This time is though is the most extensive I've done. I put a few HC and DHG just for giggles, I doubt they're going to survive for long but this tank is placed right under my desk lamp so who knows. I've kept ghost shrimp in there before as well that have lived for a couple months without ever having anything connected to the little tank!

I got another new toy in the mail today! Set it up this morning, been waiting for all the bubbles to go away. lol

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Wow. How hard was it to maneuver all those small bits? Your scale is impressive.

That is impressive. What kind of tank is that? And capacity? 0.5g? I would have guessed much bigger if it weren't for the quarter.

It's 5.5" x 4" x 4.5", pretty darn small. Having those long tweezers does help a LOT. Took about an hour or so to set this little baby up!

Looks great. Planning on trying any small live stock in there? Probably be tough to deal with water conditions at that scale I'm guessing. Nicely done.

Yeah, maybe in a few weeks I'll put a ghost or cherry shrimp in there. I've had a few shrimps survive a couple months before in that tank.

Beautiful. If the quarter wasn't there I would think the tank was larger.

That's really cool, normally I don't mind having big hands, but at a time like that it might be an exception.

I have great admiration for your tweezer skills. I seem to be tweezer impaired. When I have the plant in the tweezers and dig it into the substrate, it just floats right out. :P You are amazing.

I use two tweezers when I plant, one straight and one angled. Depending on where the plant is alternate it with one holding it down. It helps a LOT! Especially when planting suckers like HC

It is fun to learn new things and plantedtank.net is a great place to do it.
