What size inline diffuser for an ehiem 2217?

I see that there are three different models of inline diffuser, but I don't know which should go on an eheim 2217, or what the differences between the models are (I'm assuming its size right?)

You need the 13mm one. It might be called a 12/16 also. This is referring to the tubing size of the output of your filter.

When I get it, I should have it be as far away from the output as possible right? As in close to the filter yea?
