harlequin sulawesi shrimps anyone still have these?

Does anyone still have these? How did you manage to keep them alive?
Any difference from the Cardinals?

Looks like no one have them. I was able to see 2 berried ones last year but they drop the eggs. Then in 4 months I lost all 10 of them.
In my opinion they need separate tank. Light should have dim on and off. Glass of the tank should be mirror one- the mirror side has to be from their said. This will prevent stress because they won't be able to see thru the glass. Spirulina is the best food for them in my experience. I had feed mine for more than 10 months 90% spirulina 10% mosura excel.
10% WC per week thru slow pump/dripping method/
Problem is that their live spam is short-around 1 year-I thing

The ones I kept died pretty quick. They lasted about 3 months. Had 2 clutches hatch but the babies were also very hard to keep alive. Sulawesis are just hard to keep minus the cardinals.

That's mainly because they are wild caught. In Asian, breeders breed them and sell the offspring because those are easier to keep. So, we need a pioneer or two here.

Here they are for sale at Fraku in Germany. This guy usually only sells stuff that he breeds, so I think that these are tank bred:

Maybe eventually someone will get them going in the USA, and they will become available.

LFS in Ontario had them but so far people who did buy them are reporting huge losses already.

I feel these are much more fragile than Cardinals/White Starry Nights/Ensifera etc.

From what I read about them they live off a particular sponge that grows in the lakes in Sulawesi and also the biofilm on rocks there. They need specific water parameters and temps to keep them happy/alive.

Even a drop in the temp from the LFS to your tank would be a problem.
Too bad, because they are especially beautifully marked.
