10 Gallon Lonely Meadow

Ive been growing some Fissiden to a piece of driftwood for a while now and decided to make use of it in a tank along with some HC cuttings from another tank. Im in no rush to stock this tank but our local fish club will be having an auction next month so im sure i will find something for it. I will keep this updated on the growth and hopefully in a couple of weeks the HC will have covered the entire tank. O+ root tabs covered by plain ole pool filter sand and marineland double bright LED running 15 hours a day.

Thanks, yes it's leveled out flat. I may later add some blyxa japonica to the back left corner to give it some depth.

I'm setting up something similar. I'm gonna use stargrass in the corner for some depth and to hide the heater

Well its been a few weeks and although it doesnt look like a lot of growth im happy with how the HC bounced back. The HC i placed in this tank was melting and had gone dark and crispy due to being left out in a baggie for so long.
Anyway here is an updated picture.......
