Clamp Light

I'm looking around on ebay for a clamp light for a 5 gallon tank I wanna setup. A lot of the LED lights are 10k LED or a mix of 12k and 8k lights. Are these okay for freshwater plants? Also they are around 11 inches long and the tank I'm looking at is 16 inches. I wouldn't be able to run co2 or excel (going to be a shrimp tank) Would this be too much light some say they have 24-33 LEDS. Here is a pic of it I can't link the ebay link but If you search LED Clamp light I'm sure it can be found. There is a couple other ones if anyone could give me a suggestion that would be great.

I have found that spiral cfl's are the way to go. They are probably the best bang for your buck.

This only cost 18-24 dollars with free shipping not that much, I want it to look good as well. Is there a clamp on style CFL lamp?

Yes, you can get it at almost any hardware store for less than $10 altogether.

home depot/lowes sells 6500k spirals 45w, just bought 2 6.56 cents each, and they also had those same clip ons for 5 bucks a pop, not bad a whole light setup for 25 bucks, throw in an outlet doubler and a 6 dollar timer and its a high tech light.

This is the best photo I can find... but this two clamp lights from target with spiral cfls. Had to rig up a wooden frame behind the tank to clamp it too, but it was well worth it.

Ha! I just got the same light. Bought a cfl from HD that is 15W, 5,000k and 800 lumens. This should be good for a 5.5 or 2.5 gallon (not sure which one yet).
