Which plants benefit from Root Tabs?
I bought some root tabs to put under my crypts in my tank, but I'm wondering what other types of plants would benefit from them? My substrate is Floramax, I dose Aqueon plant food once a week (http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...AvailInUS%2FNo) and I have crypts, Anubius, Java fern, wisteria, red ludwigia, and anacharis. I'm guessing the anubius, javas and anacharis don't need it, but what about the wisteria and ludwigia?

My vals & rotala plants grow thick root mats when I keep trimming them, so I would add tabs under them.

If they have roots is good to add the tabs, If not means they get the nutrients from water in that case you want to add liquid fert
To be sure you can seed one tab each 4 inches every 4 months. Rotala does not need tabs just liquid and high light |
