Rotala Wallichi

I bought this stuff at Petco in a little package because it looked like moss. I looked it up on the Internet and all the pictures I see of it look nothing like it. What is it?

Definitely not an aquatic moss. Pictures aren't clear enough on my tablet to say more than that though

Open it and put it in your tank. It's not wallichii, that's for sure.

The plant in the package looks like some emersed grown Rotalas I've seen. It's probably emersed grown R. wallichi.

TC R. wallichii.

I am 100% sure that is Rotala wallichii in its emersed form. It's dwarfed due to the hormones used in tissue culture.

However that sample is already starting to go bad. Only fresh ones are worth buying.
