New tank, long thin algae

Hiya,

As described, it's attaching to the glass / plants / moss. It's very sparse and green.. (Just noticed it today)
I literally added RCS today and had been using flourish excel every few days.

My lights are on from 10am to 9pm. They're Up Aqua Pro Z series LED's.

Should I cut my lighting time ?

A photograph would help us identify the algae that you have, and how to treat/eliminate it.

Your photoperiod is quite long; I would aim for 8 hours.

On the glass; is there also shrimplets on the glass ?

To much light, to many nutrients in the water column... looks like thread algae to me . Water change and cut down the lights,

Those aren't baby shrimp, they are nemacodots or something,
look for the "identify this" thread in Shrimp and Inverts, I would do
it for you, but I'm on my iPod, and my Internet speed is
quite laggy. Those are perfectly harmless though.

What's a nemocodot? Lol.

They're not new shrimp, they're Copepods. I love them. They're called cyclops.

I've seen this algae. See how your plants grow with no ferts. All too often, people add uneeded ferts.
