Thank you guys for the lesson on safetsorb! Where would I go looking for black diamond sand? Can you get safetsorb from home depot or lowe's or is it an online item?

I bought a 50 pound bag of Turface natural for $11. It's similar to safe t sorb but is baked at a much higher temperature so it won't get mushy over time. I have read some reviews that say safe t sorb will break down after a couple years. Haven't used it myself. If you don't want to fuss with actually mineralizing the correct topsoil just get some miracle grow organic potting mix.
