Sick angelfish help plz

Hello all. One of my breeding pair of angels is very ill. I thought that it had swim bladder issues and maybe that can be confirmed.

Approx three weeks ago the angel appeared to be having trouble getting to lower parts of the tank and always seemed to be under the filter outlet face almost cresting surface. I had someone instruct me of ways to try and correct that problem. ie peas, starving, epsom salt . After the epsom salt the fish for about a week was swimming almost back to normal. Now for the last week the fish is lying on the bottom of the tank for most of the day the only time that the fish will move is if harassed , then swims for 5 minutes and then right back to bottom with laboured breathing....

any idea's?

ammonia , nitrite , nitrate all great . few plants in tank with no ferts. temp is held at 82 . weekly waterchanges of approx 25%. Anything else in tank and other angel are all healthy and show no signs of any illness.

55gallon tank with various stem plants , standard gravel. low light. rocks structure that i put together .

i dont see anything visable, is there any way its internal injuries? i did have an over zealous male platy that had to be moved to another tank that would harass him at times, he was only in there for three days and he was moved to another tank. The angel is a full size angel prolly the size of a grown mans hand, i didnt think he would be harmed i just didnt want him stressed. that was also waaaayyyy before i saw any of this scenario starting. When he is lying on the bottom he breathes very irregularly . I think i may lose this poor guy. too bad too he is 3 years old

Unfortunately fish diseases are really hard to diagnose sometimes because all we can do is assess visually. The fish can't tell us where/why it hurts. I doubt the platy would've done much damage at all. Might just be his/her time I guess. Sorry I couldn't help more.

you said parameters were good what are they? what is good for one fish may not be good for another, we need the readings ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ph all that. im sorry you lost your angel but with out proper readings there is no telling what really happened
