i got three berried tangerine tigers, here's two

im not sure what color these are. cherry or orange?

not sure about this one either. Got about 6 of these in the tank. They are grayish color almost greenish.

Thanks for sharing, do you mind sharing some experience of chocolate breeding? Are they much harder than, say, fire reds? What kind of parameters do you keep yours in?

for the chocolates, i do nothing different. All the neos i got i don't do anything special.

The chocos will throw culls sometimes that have a greenish tinge to them.

Chocolates are really just a wild coloration. Very easy to get IMO. If you can't buy any, just get some low grade cherries for cheap, some low grade yellows for cheap, and mix them. When they breed, the babies will revert back to a wild coloration. Once those wild "low grade chocolates" start breeding, you'll start getting darker chocolates. You can selective breed from there if you want, or just let them continue to breed and see what you end up with.

I mixed and ended up with something like this....




and I let them continue to breed and ended up with this....




and eventually this (excuse the terrible picture)....

You are sooooo lucky to have different kinds of shrimp, around here, I can only buy ghost shrimp. Unless I'd be willing to drive 300 miles away from here to buy other kinds, then their is no hope.

Yeah, if you get mail service, you can get any shrimp you want. There's isn't a store in a 100 miles from me that sells shrimp. Every shrimp I've ever bought has been shipped to me.

did not know that cross breeding neo's to get the chocolate sp. was so simple like that. tempted to try, but alas, not enough tanks and happy with my two nanos (3g and 5.5g)

Can skip a few steps and use PFR instead of cheap cherry too..
