What dose this mean? Filter tube
I have a Tetra Ex700 (canister filter), I just purchased a spare canister tube which has it specs. Was wondering what 11.3mm? Is it inner or outer diameter?
![]() If you know the specs because I want to buy a cheaper brand. |

I'm not quite sure what you are asking - you have a canister filter, and you have the tubing, but you still want to know the diameter? You can check with a ruler or a set of calipers...
I believe the 11.3 mm measurement refers to the inner diameter. The outer diameter is probably closer to 16 mm.

You have put me to shame, spent an hour looking for the specs and haven't thought of using a ruler. :banghead: My laziness has made it a habit to check online instead of using a practical method. Cant read an exact but estimate is11.3mm for the inner diameter and 16mm for the outer diameter.
