dayum, nice looking tank! And good that you already have 2. Are they from me as well? lol If not then you got some mixed gene right there. Chances are you will have a pair and since TTs are prolific breeders, if you can keep the newer 2 alive (and I'm sure you can, you already have good experience keeping shrimps, and my TTs are beasts), you may end up with a small colony. good luck.

Al - I live close to GTU so can always pick up the TTs for you and then bring them to work on Monday or Thursday if you'd like.

Is that 200w heater good for a 5.5g?

its 15.5 inches long so thats pretty much the whole length. And it being 200w, it might heat the water too quickly.

I'll still buy the airpump from you if you end up parting it out!

I got good news and bad news *well just on my end* I raised those juvies to adults and they came out REALLY nice one got berried but dropped eggs because she was still new at it. But I had a pH swing, my Amazonia lost most of its buffering power. So they got stressed out and started dropping like flies. I even tried to use Manhattan water which is perfect but it was too late. I have 6 left and I moved em to a different tank with just Manhattan water. Hopefully they'll survive. I hate how my water is 7.6 I deliberately got Amazonia just to buffer it to 6.5. I wasnt aware that my water would drain the buffering of Amazonia that fast.
How hardy are TT's?
