Easy moss for low tech tank

I have low lighting and no c02. I bought one of these rocks (link below) from petsmart to give my cherry shrimp somewhere to hide and now I want to cover it with moss. I have been looking at Java moss among others. Would this be the best direction to go?

yes!! very slow growth though on low light

I just received my Ehim 4004320 pre-filter. This thing looks out of place. Can I wrap it with Java Moss without causing a problem? I don't want a thick wrap but just enough so it doesn't stand out as much.

Too be honest Xmas or Taiwan looks a lot better. But Java is ok too.

Picked up a tennis ball sized bunch from my LFS for $3.95. Will post up some pictures when I get some drift wood next week. I will be removing the rock because it is raising my PH.

One of my favorite mosses which is extremely tolerant of low tech setups is Peacock Moss. http://www.aquamoss.net/Peacock-Moss/Peacock-Moss.htm
