Trouble growing fissidens fontanus
I have had a 1x1" patch in my tank for almost 6 months with very little growth. I have 2wpg 6'700k, on a 10gal. its been shaded and not shaded, doesnt seem to make a difference. i am using florite red substrate capped with black gravel, ph is 6.9-7.2. NO co2 or excel.
does anyone have ideas as to why its not growing? if you have some doing well in your tank please share what your water parameters are

Bring them closer to light. You may also check your bulb if they need replacement. It makes a lot of difference on moss growth.
