Hey TPT! Starting a new journal today.

History
I started my first planted aquarium a little over three years ago. It was a short lived endeavor since I planned my first planted aquarium while my wife was pregnant with our first child.

Suffice to say, its a bit tough doing daily maintenance and weekly water changes when I should have been clearly doing diaper changes.

I am now just getting back in. I placed a few orders this week to upgrade some of the equipment before I put water in the tank. Specifically I ordered a Mr. Aqua 48, Do!Aqua Lily Pipes and some new ADA AS Amazonia, Mr Barr Wood for the scape.

While I am waiting for the new gear to arrive here is my equipment list for the planned aquascape.

Jeez, Marine Depot... I ordered my aquarium weeks ago....

I'm subscribing to this one, someone wh starts a planted aquarium will his wife is expecting is probably going to continue to make interesting decisions. (I also feel that 45-65 gallon range is a good balance between stability and ease of maintenance).

Call this "Round 2" since we are now expecting our second child in August! However this time, I am setting up the aquarium in my office.

Back to MarineDepot - I will not go through the amount of times they have said its "In Stock" and ready to ship from Mr Aqua... They emailed me today and said it will be at least another month. I am pretty annoyed with MarineDepot to say the least.
