Fish and Plants documentaries?

Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on good documentaries to watch that deal with freshwater fish?

I've been watching a lot of River Monsters but they never really show any aquarium fish we keep (unless you're on monsterfishkeepers too!)

So here are two amazing ones I've found
Equator: rivers of the sun - features a lot of amazonian fish
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AksSXO7Uno0

Jewel's of the Rift - this is about lake tanganyika cichlids but still cool
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xqy...e-rift_animals

So, post up anything that is cool, even if they aren't full length documentaries. I love just seeing footage of our little fish in the wild!

There was a show on Discovery that was pretty good, called "Expedition Borneo".

Although that might be more rainforest related than fish.

I can't find it right now but there was one posted years ago. It was a documentry of Japan and how they farm. It was so cool to watch some of these fishes and inverts breed in their rice patties. Even more interesting was how they have some gold fishes in the back of the house that would eat their waste.

If anyone can remember the name of it, I would highly recommend that one as well.

Loved those movies! And bump for the thread. Just finished watching the Amazon abyss series... or rather wasting my time. It's more reality style on the crew and fake drama then actually animals.

Anyone have some more recommendations?

Yes, in fact I just deleted it off my DVR and now I could just kick myself for doing that.

It was on either the Sci channel or Discovery. It is was called "The Mutant Planet: African Rift Valley Lakes". Full of African cichlids from Malawi and Tanganyika. It was way cool to see them in their natural habitat.

I believe you can probably Google search it and find places to download.

Edit: Ok it was on the Science Channel. Here is a link with some sample clips. I also confirmed there are places you can download it. http://science.discovery.com/tv-show...lley-lakes.htm
