Finnex FugeRay Ultra Slim LED Fixture?

Just want to know if the FugeRay 12" would be good for a nano reef? How do you know it will promote corals?

Have you looked in to the RAY 2 instead? Pending which corals you wish to stock heavily weighs in to the light you choose.

I don't see a 12" RAY 2 on the site.

Follow this link. Also, let me know which corals your are keeping in your tank and I can give you a better idea of which light will be most suitable.

If it's for the 3g in your sig, the fugeRAY will be fine. Color wise, I would go with the RAY 2. The RAY 2 will give a nicer blue tone and make your softies glow. Worth the upgrade in my opinion even though both will work for your application. Plus, you'll be able to with LPS in the future if you decide to go that route.
